Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using VoxHour ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

VoxHour is a macOS menu bar application that announces the current time at hourly intervals using text-to-speech. It optionally integrates with Google Calendar to announce upcoming events.

3. Use of the App

• The App is provided for personal, non-commercial use.
• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account credentials.

4. Google Account Integration

Connecting your Google account is optional. When connected, the App accesses your Google Calendar data in read-only mode to announce upcoming events. You may disconnect your account at any time through the App settings or through your Google Account permissions.

5. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, and content, is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. Time announcements and calendar event information are provided for convenience and should not be relied upon as your sole source of scheduling information.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to missed meetings or appointments.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We reserve the right to discontinue the App at any time without notice.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
